According to the 2024 Bath Trend Report from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), textured tiles and wall coverings are one of the biggest bathroom design trends of 2024. We expect to see more bathrooms that feature subway tiles with raised edges, 3D effect mosaic tiles, fluted marble tiles, and dark textured pebble tile floors in 2024
Mosaic Tile Shower Floors
Throughout 2024, we expect to see more remodeled walk-in showers that feature eye-catching mosaic tile floors. According to Real Simple magazine, “Pretty floor tile arrangements on shower floors are on-trend now.” This includes patterned porcelain tiles and intricate mosaic tile designs like basketweave. Popular mosaic patterns for shower floors and bathroom floors include chain link, hexagon, chevron, and herringbone.
Mosaic Tiles with Brass Accents
Mosaic tiles with brass and warm metallic accents are an up-and-coming trend in bathroom design. Marble mosaics that feature brass or gold color accents provide a luxe, gilded look that’s especially ideal for upscale spa-like bathroom designs. Nature-Inspired Green Tiles
Green tiles are a top interior design trend for 2024 (they were also highly sought after in 2023). Vibrant green tiles in shades inspired by nature, such as sage, celadon, emerald, and forest green, are on-trend in kitchen and bathroom designs. While rectangular or square green tiles are a widely popular choice for bathroom and shower walls, dark green penny rounds and leaf shaped mosaic tiles are also trending.
