Polished - Flat reflective glossy surface with superior material clarity. With a brilliant shine and light-capturing capabilities, polished marble is the perfect accent for design projects seeking to wow viewers. Best for indoor countertops, kitchen and bathroom backsplashes, accent walls and surrounds.

Honed - Flat reflective matte surface with some slip resistance. A versatile, matte finish requiring minimal maintenance. Honed marble will not show scratches or natural imperfections and is suitable for heavy-wearing areas. Best for indoor bathroom and shower floor tile, kitchen tiling and laundry flooring. Also suitable for outdoor use.

Calacatta Marble

Calacatta (Calcutta) marble is arguably the most luxurious of the natural stones. Known colloquially as the “rich man’s marble”, Calacatta is quarried in Italy and was a favorite of the Roman Emperors. Calacatta is less gray than Carrara marble varieties. It has an ivory base and veins in greys, golds and greens.
